WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Sam Brownback today mourned the tragic loss of life at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

 "This is an unbelievably tragic time for the Virginia Tech community, and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families," said Brownback. "This is a sad time for the country, and we will remember all the people who have been touched by this tragedy."
